They also stick to smooth surfaces such as glass, porcelain, wood and much more.
Here is a little instruction:

• Carefully remove the protective film and please note which side of the protective film has covered the Rub-Ons. Use only this side to protect them again. Alternatively, you can also cut out the desired motif from the sheet and remove the protective film from the cut-out piece.
• Place the Rub-On on a clean, dry surface, with the somewhat sticky side down.
• Use a folding leg or something similar and begin rubbing over the design with even pressure. You should be able to see the rub-on come away from the backing paper. 
• Then very slowly pull off the backing paper. If some of the Rub-On has not transferred, carefully put it back and rub over the area again with your folding leg.
